Glass Name Bar

The talking-head identifier. An accent line draws down, a frosted bar wipes out from it carrying your name, role, a kicker tag and a handle chip, and then it sits there. No cursor, no click, no ask — it exists to tell a viewer who is speaking.

What it's for

The talking-head identifier. An accent line draws down, a frosted bar wipes out from it carrying your name, role, a kicker tag and a handle chip, and then it sits there. No cursor, no click, no ask — it exists to tell a viewer who is speaking.

Reach for it when

  • The first time each person appears in an interview or podcast cut
  • Guest appearances and collaborations, where nobody knows the second face
  • Any video where a stranger is talking and viewers need a name

How it plays

Built to sit under dialogue, which sets every constraint. There is no click sound to duck under speech, the wipe resolves inside a second so it does not draw the eye through a sentence, and the corner is switchable so it stays clear of whichever side the subject is framed on.

Not the right pick when

Driving an action — it deliberately contains no button. Use the Glass Subscribe Lower Third when you want the same strip to actually ask for something.

The GLASS family

GLASS panels are frosted dark — translucent charcoal with a blurred edge and a hairline border. They sit on darker, contrastier footage: night streets, studio setups with a lit subject on a dark ground, gameplay, screen recordings. On a bright white kitchen they vanish, which is exactly why FROST exists.
