Letterbox Reveal
The cinema main title. Ink bars slide in from the edges to a 2.39 frame, the kicker lands with a short accent rule, the title arrives loose and its tracking closes into place, and a credit line sits in the lower bar. Near the end the type leaves and the bars breathe back out, so the shot is already running full-frame when the opener is over.

What it's for
The cinema main title.
Reach for it when
- The top of a travel film, a documentary cut or a long-form vlog with a name
- Any establishing shot that deserves a title in the film register rather than a lower third
- A channel trailer, where the bars alone say “this was made, not posted”
How it plays
Nothing travels across the picture. An opener plays over B-roll that is already moving — a drone push, a slow pan — and a graphic that also moves fights the shot, so the bars are the only thing that moves and they move once. The title contracts the way Title Settle does on purpose: the two openers read as one system. The ratio is a field — Scope, Univisium or Flat — because the bars are the design, and a creator who knows the difference will want to choose.
Not the right pick when
A title over footage that is already letterboxed in the edit — the bars will double. Use Title Settle, which dips the frame instead of framing it.
The FILM family
FILM is the paperwork of a shoot as motion — the slate, the leader, the slug line, the credits, the grain. It is built for creators who shoot like filmmakers, and it is the one family where the typeface is the design rather than a slot: Bodoni for the credits, Bebas for the slate and the leader, Courier for the page. Nothing in it glows, leaks or flares; everything is colour with alpha, so what you see in the Studio is what lands on your timeline.
