What it's for

The long-form comment driver. The same one-percentage poll compressed into a strip along the lower safe zone, so it runs under a talking head without covering the speaker.

Reach for it when

  • YouTube commentary and reaction videos mid-segment
  • Podcast cuts where the hosts disagree and the audience can weigh in
  • Any 16:9 upload where a centred poll would sit on someone's face

How it plays

The compact strip is the whole adaptation. A poll card that works at 9:16 becomes a face-covering slab at 16:9, so this one gives up the vertical stack and runs the two bars horizontally in the strip a lower third already owns. B is still always the remainder of A.

Not the right pick when

Vertical clips, where the strip is too wide for the safe area. Use the Poll Bar at 9:16.

The GLASS family

GLASS panels are frosted dark — translucent charcoal with a blurred edge and a hairline border. They sit on darker, contrastier footage: night streets, studio setups with a lit subject on a dark ground, gameplay, screen recordings. On a bright white kitchen they vanish, which is exactly why FROST exists.
