Recipe Card
The recipe at a glance, on the index card it was always written on. A cream card with ruled lines settles at a slight tilt, a strip of washi tape in your colour drops onto it, and the dish is written across the top by hand. Prep, cook and serves land under it, the red rule draws across, and the ingredients are written onto the lines one at a time with every amount in your colour. Your handle signs the foot.

Reach for it when
- The opening seconds of a recipe reel, over the finished dish, so viewers know what they are in for
- A save-worthy frame: the card is the screenshot people take before they scroll on
- Cook-alongs and meal prep, where the shopping list matters more than the method
How it plays
It is drawn as the recipe card in a family tin — ruled lines, a red margin, a strip of tape — because that is the object people trust a recipe on, and it reads as home cooking rather than a menu. Everything a hand would write is in Kalam; the small caps labels take your brand font. Start an ingredient with its amount and the amount takes your colour on its own, so the quantities scan down the card. Empty lines drop away, so a five-ingredient recipe shows five.
Not the right pick when
The numbered method, step by step — that is the Step Marker, one per cut. A plain checklist of tips is the Frost Checklist.
