Shade Range

A product’s whole range in one frame. Up to six swatches brush onto skin one at a time, each labelled with its shade number and name, your favourite gets a my-pick chip in your brand colour, and the product sits above them — a drawn lipstick in the shade you picked, or your own product photo.

What it's for

A product’s whole range in one frame. Up to six swatches brush onto skin one at a time, each labelled with its shade number and name, your favourite gets a my-pick chip in your brand colour, and the product sits above them — a drawn lipstick in the shade you picked, or your own product photo.

Reach for it when

  • Lipstick, gloss and liner launches, where the shade is the whole question
  • Blush, bronzer and foundation ranges, swatched on the skin tone you are showing
  • Nail colour collections and "which shade should I get" videos
  • Over your own swatch clip: switch the backdrop off and lay the labels over your arm

How it plays

The skin the swatches sit on is a choice of six tones, and the range line says which one it is, because a shade looks different on every skin and viewers know it. The colours are typed, never sampled from a photo, since a phone camera rarely gets a shade right; the number and name carry the truth. Swatches brush on top to bottom so the viewer reads the range in order, and the pick lands only after the last one.

Not the right pick when

A single shade you want to dwell on. Use The Launch for one hero product, or the Frost Before / After for a look on and off.

The VANITY family

VANITY is the beauty and skincare set, and the first family built around your product photo rather than your footage. Each template is a full frame — the shot, the type, nothing else — that also switches to a transparent overlay when you want the same type over your own clip. The serif is part of the design, the way it is on a campaign.
